Taiwan could use reverse-engineered V-1 missiles to strike China's military depots and staging areas

Having a large arsenal of such missiles would be a powerful deterrent. There's no way for the Chinese to hide a military build-up and an invasion fleet. 

Firing a few missiles into the sea just short of China would put an end to the brinkmanship of Chinese pilots entering Taiwanese airspace.
